  2. I have a problem now... Strangers has ruined me for most other "romantica" offerings. I'm having a hard time finding much else to read and I've burned through all of Barbara's offerings already!

Barbara, I beseech thee... Write faster!!! I need your prose to help me through the winter months here in Tampa, where it gets so col- hmm, where it can get a little cool.

    btw, who do you read?

  3. OOh Tiffany, thank you!! I#m 52,000 words into the next for Loose ID but the idea for the next for Ellora's Cave is taking shape in my dreams.

I'm in Orlando at the moment - not so far from you! It actually IS cold today but since it's snowing at home in the UK, I mustn't complain. But I do love to complain. Where is the sun!!!! This is not what I paid for!!

What do I read? I love regency romances but only if they are funny - so Eloisa James, Julia Quinn, Suzanne Enoch, Mary Balogh, Loretta Chase, Elizabeth Hoyt.

I like some types of the vampire-shapeshifter books - like JR Ward, Keri Arthur. Those are series I follow. I dip in and out of others.

I like funny contemporary romances by Jenny Crusie -but not the ones she wrote with that guy -I like Susan Elizabeth Phillips a lot and several British authors - Adele Parks, Lisa Jewel, Liz Young, Catherine Alliot, Jill Mansell.

I like thrillers - Karen Slaughter, Peter James, Mark Billingham

I better stop _ I could go on and on

BUT - if you want to know about erotic writers -I have to confess, I don't read many. I like some of Emma Holly's, some of Robin Schone's, some of Susan Johnson's--

well I read a huge amount. But so far this holiday I have five books I'll take back to the UK and 12 that I found hard to finish.

    Thanks for stopping by!
    Barbara
